I’ve been writing, editing, and facilitating stories since 2017

Since first grasping my ABCs, I’ve been dreaming things up and jotting things down. I graduated from Winchester University in 2019 with a first-class degree in English Literature and Creative Writing. And, for almost 10 years, writing has been my profession as well as my passion.

Journalism

I’ve been a full-time staff writer at Wargamer since 2022. That means daily articles, videos, and social media posts about one of my all-time favourite topics: tabletop games. I’m your go-to for D&D rule explainers, board game criticism, Magic: The Gathering hot takes, and celebri-nerd interviews. I’ve covered everything from investor calls to Critical Role to Comic Con.

Beyond meeples and dice, I’ve also covered music, movie releases, and major video games like Baldur’s Gate 3, Silent Hill, and The Sims. Check out some of my best articles my portfolio.

Poetry

My poetry has been published by Fourteen Poems, Strix Leeds, The Emma Press, Untitled, Broken Spine, and Stones of Madness Press. In 2021, my poem ‘Echolalia’ was highly commended in the Lucent Dreaming poetry prize. I’m an experienced performer and event host, and I’ve hosted writing workshops and reading events for a variety of demographics.

My work explores gender, disability, pop culture, and family through a witty, gothic lens. I’m currently working on my first poetry pamphlet. If you’d like to see examples of my work, check out my blog!

Copywriting

I’m nerdy about writing, whatever the topic. My portfolio includes video game marketing, business and accounting textbooks, and many, many, many social media posts.
